Title: FED-STD-595 - Paint Colors -
Post by: jwc66k on April 08, 2020, 04:30:25 PM
This is the Federal Standard used to standardize colors used in Military applications. I matched the website colors with my paper copy of Fed-Std-595A (rev B is current) and (even with my old and decrepit eyes) are close enough where I can't tell.

Your best usage is in the blacks - flat, semi and gloss. You can also use the different colors to compare shades - my blue is closer to color 15200 than 15180 - as an example.
As always, your computer sees colors differently than my computer, my camera, my software and my screen (my eyes are covered above). I assume that applies to everybodys' equipment.
