Title: 68 GT 500 4spd

I know the tag number is RUG-S but did they put a different number on the build sheet? This one I am looking at appears like it has a C8 number under transmission.

Are you still talking about the tag or are you talking about a casting number?

Think this is what your referencing. Not sure what the question is though ;)

68 was the only year they did this. Later build sheets changed the notation to Tag Number

Thanks Jeff that's exactly what I was asking about. Just to clarify so I know is it that way on all 68 build sheets or just on the Shelby units?

New question ;)

No this was different from the way they were labeled for regular Mustangs as well as GT350's and GT500KR's. On those buildsheets they have the RUG. tag info
