Temp sender
« on: May 16, 2022, 02:58:59 AM »
On a gt350, where is the temp sender located on the replacement intake and how is it wired? Anyone have a picture and part number of an original?  Mine was modified at some point in the past.

Also, without starting another thread, does anyone restore shift knobs or have any tips?  The chrome under the clear epoxy needs refinishing on mine.

Thanks.

It is located just behind the T-stat housing, same as the cast iron intake. The wire is in the engine harness which includes the oil pressure sender, coil power and the temperature sender.

Top row with cast iron intake and bottom row with the aluminum

Water temp senders would have not been painted over like shown in the upper left. Just some owner with a rattle can  ::)

Awesome. Thanks.  What is just to the left of the sender in the bottom 2 pictures?  That is where my sender currently.

That first threaded hole left of the sender in the pictures is where the heater hose fitting goes .
