Title: Shock Tower Shield Bolt Color
Post by: sbted95 on December 21, 2014, 08:59:53 PM

I am now in the re-assembly phase of my restoration!  Finally!  I just put on the shock tower shields and wondered if I need to paint the bolts that you see in the engine compartment?  I guess I am asking if the motor compartment was painted before of after the shock tower shields were assembled?  Thanks in advance.

Engine compartment was painted before anything was attached. Bolts are plated silver cad or zinc. Nuts are zinc phosphate.

Perfect!  Thanks Bob.  I thought that was the answer but wanted to make sure.  I appreciate your help.
