Title: 70 Front Sway Bar - Flex (maybe Hug) Lock Nuts
Post by: blackjadeboss on December 26, 2014, 10:11:28 AM
I noticed on my March 70 B2 that the sway bar end links and the frame mounts for the sway bar have flex/.hug lock nuts instead of standard locking nuts. I did notice that Perkins GO car has them on the end links. Couldn't see the frame mounts.

The car is all original ....

Is this common?

Not unusual for guys to modify the hardware that use

Here are a few pictures of originals I hope that illustrate the items

Thanks Jeff.

I brain-farted however, I meant the front sway bar!

What was I thinking of :-)

Not sure it was you but in any case - header changed and we're on the same course again

Don't know if I have a shot of the end link nuts since that means the bottom of the lower A arm but will continue to look (can't recall ever taking a picture of that on a 70 Dearborn)

Here is a shot of the frame mount nut that holds the bushing
