Title: Correct fan ?
Post by: Shelby1962 on January 14, 2015, 08:40:05 PM
Part number needed for a fan blade in my '70 MACH1, 351 Cleveland, Dearborn built 5/1970, auto, no A/C.  Besides the part number are there any date codes or revisions I need to worry about to be correct?
Besides the blade I'm looking for an alternator belt. All I have found is a reproduction with an ink stamped part #. What are the chances of finding a NOS or good used original with the part numbers embossed into the belt. I'd like to get one to match my power steering belt.

With automatic, it should be the D0ZE-B 5 blade flex fan.

Don't have many 70 351 Buildsheets but all I have (auto no AC) were equipped with  the C8SE-B

For an original style fan belt - try and the wanted section. They are out there just have to find them. Since its no a CJ part some may not have held on to them or given them much attention so supply the engineering number with date your hoping for in your description

Good luck
