Title: Vacuum canister fitment
Post by: bjf1992 on January 17, 2015, 05:58:15 PM
Starting to put the car back together but seem to have a problem. Trying to install the vacuum canister. The canister is an original. The fender apron is a replacement.

I've attached a photo. Do they all fit this way? I've seen pictures where they seem to be off like this one and I've also seen them fit nicely.

I've noticed the fit was off in the Dearborn picture in this post.

so I'm hoping this in normal??

It is normal for there to be variations like the examples you presented.
