When should I paint my rocker pinch welds black. before or after painting the car? Also how much of the inside of the door is painted is painted black? My car is Acapulco Blue and built is Dearborn. Pictures too please. Thanks

What interior? Is it a Grande, Mach, standard interior car?
Black pinchweld was applied after the engine compartment black was applied which took place after the exterior color application.
Front fender not yet installed so there should be no black from the process on the fender and overspray fell on panels and details behind the pinch weld and in the rear wheel well as the spray stopped then restarted again behind the rear wheel well. Practice was pretty much standard between all the plants
Edge on the rocker panel was a soft edge (not produced by masking off with tape) and the edge can differ depending on the specific car but most like to produce that outside edge on the underside of the rocker so it can't be seen. That is of course if you don't have any documentation from the specific car before disassembly
If I knew when your car was assembled at Dearborn might be able to post a picture or two from that period

It's a Mach 1

Its been my observation that no lower interior paint was applied to the surface of the doors at the bottom of the interior door surface since the door panels covered the complete inner surface of the door. So your car would typically have body color over the surface between and behind the door panel and out to the weatherstrip (it was not there during paint application) with thinning paint on the bottom edge of the door since most painters didn't take allot of effort to assure good paint coverage on that surface

Some supporting pictures (none of the bottom of the door since there is not much to see ;)
Sorry the Dearborn car's undercarriages are in such poor condition or uncleaned so they do not show the amount of overspray and coverage (in these) on the floor and frame parts behind the rocker panels - inward
Hope these help
