Just purchased an Autolight wiper switch D0ZZ-17A553-A SW-933. put it in and goofy thing has on/low/high to the right like normal. From the off position, rotating to the right, it clicks to like 5 or switch positions. I am I that unlucky to get a bad switch??

Sounds like you got lucky and have a 1970 intermittent wiper switch.

thats what i just found after a google search, that is supposed to be that way, sweet, i will hook up the battery and test it out

Now you just need to find the other half of the system ( The governor that mounts on the cowl ) ........
You can usually recognize the intermittent wiper switch right away as it has a short ground wire with an eyelet that's attached to the body of the switch.
The intermittent wiper switch is worth 2 or 3 times what the regular switch is worth.

guess i need to figure out what to do, is this the part that u mention i need? Wiper delay 69/70, control unit Autolite (b4 10/15/69) Guaranteed to work., OK thanks for the input, i dont want it, too expensive for a car that will never see the rain. Im gonna send it back, wiper motor still didnt work on high, so my original switch isnt the problem. Guess its wiring or the wiper motor.
