Title: 68 AM/FM radio !?

hi,

can you told me if this is a original 68 mustang radio ?! I am not sure after i see the chrome button on the bottom of the radio and on the top of the radio that write FORD and not FOMOCO !?!

No that is not a 68 radio because 68s did not have the fader bar at the bottom. It will work just not correct.

Should be an engineering number stamped into the side of the metal  case for you to use for identification

The 68 number is F8TBZ.  Should be stamped on the side.

radio was for a 73 mustang ! can fit 71 to 73 ..if someone want it, let me know ! for sale i need a 68 !

Finding a 68 AM FM stereo will be difficult...very rare option. Did yours come with the AM FM originally? If you are looking to have a period correct radio in the dash, finding an AM only radio would be much easier. If you want something more for listening or sound quality, such as AM FM Stereo, Auxillary input, Bluetooth etc, these are other things that can be done using the stock AM radio. They are not Concours Correct but those ideas can be discussed in Private Messaging if you like.
