Title: 1970 4 speed Hurst shifter knob
Post by: priceless on February 18, 2015, 09:02:10 PM
What different types of Hurst shifter knobs did Ford use in 1970 Mustangs/Shelbys 4 speed cars besides the T handle or was that the only choice?

does anyone have photos?

Thanks

Shelby's didn't use the Hurst shifter.

Will see if I've got a picture or two of the Mustang/Hurst T handle. T handle was the only handle used originally on regular production Mustangs with 4 speeds that year I believe.

If you want it quickly check the Boss 302 Registry there are a number of threads about the difference between original, later and what was sold over the counter at parts houses. Might even have an article/section in the photo library there
