Ok, I've got my 3M chalk and I'm ready to reattach my front fenders (the gaps were good prior to painting). I've noticed the 3M product can be sticky and wondered if getting the gaps right would be a problem. Should I put a piece of wax paper on top of the 3M chalk as I align the fenders, or am I just being overly concerned? Qman

The fenders will move wherever you want them, no need to be concerned about the strip caulk.
