Title: Windlace covers edge of FB fiberglass rear qtrs?
Post by: wunderwerks on April 27, 2015, 04:15:52 PM
I inherited a 65 fastback that needs to be finished put back together.  The windlace at the back of the door opening is not covering up the front edge of the fiberglass interior panels.  I think it should as it doesn't look right as the owner of the car had done.  I've never owned a completed fastback and there isn't one nearby for me to compare and I cannot find a picture in all my books that show that area.  What is correct?

The wind lace does not go over the edge of the fiberglass as Jeff's pics illustrate.

This is exactly what I needed.  I took the panel loose to make sure the drain hose was in place and the lights worked.  I'm putting it back in place right now.  Thanks Again.
