Title: 1969/70 shelby deck lid mounting tape

i mounted my orig mesh using some double sided tape given to me by a fellow 69 shelby owner-  looks quite thick .  is it thick or can i use some thinner stuff

It depends on your definition of thick and thin.  Try to use the same thickness as what was used originally . Your original sample should give you your answer unless it has been cleaned off. It was on the thicker side . Report back if you need further confirmation.

i just have a bit left  around 1/8" thick.

No thinner then that.

Have pictures of the original adhesive but will need to wait to post until I get access to my pictures in a few days
