Title: Nylon vs Polypropylene, Seat Track Guides/Slides

I need to make some new Guides/Slides for my Seat Tracks. The old ones are shot or missing and am wondering if anyone has had experience making their own and whether Nylon is better than Polypropylene or vice versa?

You could also consider Delrin (Polyoxymethylene). Has a very low coefficient of friction.

Anyone knows the original material? (1965)

You would be better off getting a set of old, rusted, broken tracks and removing the slides. The design includes a retaining pin as well as a tapered profile. Saves time and money.
