Title: original '67 289(4v) automatic vacuum advance
Post by: socalgt on June 29, 2015, 09:33:32 PM
Was the original vacuum advance one piece...or was there a separate piece with the small fitting for the hose screwed into the body?  Also, am I correct that the vacuum advance tube was rubber in '67, as opposed to the '66 steel one?

Two piece vacuum advance pod including the screw on nipple fitting. Rubber  vacuum advance hose in 67.

Just to illustrate what Bob posted -  NOS example though the dist lead has been removed. Not a later service replacement or rebuilt unit - boxed in 1968

To all: DON"T COPY THE PAINT MARKS it may not be correct for your application ;)
