Title: Pop off gas cap restoration

Does any one know to remove the pressed in center to expose the screw that removes the cap seal and spring? I thought I ha read a commit about this bu could not find it.

Hi Marty.

I can't answer your question (would like to know myself) but if I remember correctly, Kevin Manley at Kevin's Classic Cars in MN told a few years
back that either he was restoring pop open caps or knew a guy who was.  You might try giving him a call.

My problem is removing the center cap to expose the screw with out damaging the cap.
