Hi all.
Can any one out there help.
I am about to spray my 65 mustang. It was blue when i got it but originally it was prairie bronze. I want to put it back to this color but do not have a sample to show the guy in the local auto paint shop. I have had 2 auto paint shops make a color for me. But they have only been able to come up with burnished bronze that replaced prairie bronze. I have found out that this color was only used on 64/65 ford cars then it changed to burnished bronze. I have been given i link to chipex and they can give me a sample for 36£ that i have ordered but have then to take that to the auto paint shop. Has any one sprayed this color and can suggest were to get this paint. Any feed back will be much appreciated.

Never seen or heard of "Burnished Bronze" on a Mustang (check the paint chips for 65 & 66 in the Library)
IF you do a search there are a number of threads about finding reformulated paint colors in today's paint products as well as the challenges all of this has caused
