Title: Early Export Brace
Post by: Brian Conway on September 22, 2015, 06:48:57 PM
Is this export brace aftermarket or OE ?  Seems to be .131" gauge metal and the arms measure 2.264" across.  NOT FOR SALE item.  Thanks,  Brian

OE type. There is a superior repro on the market now that has similar characteristics .

Thank you Bob.  I know the recently improved reproduction Shelby, evenly spaced hole, export brace has been a great success and appears to be a faithful reproduction.  This piece, I believe, is an original and has been a piece of garage art for a number of years.  Probably would have more value and be appreciated more going back up on the wall.  Brian
