Title: 69 Boss dip stick tubes
Post by: Bossman963 on November 17, 2015, 01:59:03 PM
I reproduce the correct 69 Boss 302 dip stick tube from OEM parts and not like some of these Ebayers that say they have correct and their trying to sell you a standard 69 dip stick tube. I sell them for $150.00 shipped

I guarantee they fit perfect and the only slight difference is theirs some minor amount brazing done and once installed you cant see it- I have sold  quiet a few to the Boss 302 guys

Are 1969 and 1970 Boss 302 timing covers identical as well as the dip stick tubes ? If so, is your 1969 dip stick tube applicable to the 1970 engine ?

the timing covers are basically the same- but the dip stick tubes are typically different, the 69 is unique only to the 69 B302.

The 70 dip stick tube is longer, straighter, mounts on the left of alt bolt (as u face the motor-passenger side).

The 69 tube mounts near the thermostat housing, is shorter than the 70 and bracket mounts completely in different area to the head than the 70.

So to answer ur question- NO !

I do have a few 70 NOS dip stick tubes
