Title: 70 351C Air Cleaner Detailing
Post by: Drosk on December 20, 2015, 05:02:36 PM
I am restoring an air cleaner for my 1970 Mach1 351C built10/69 non shaker. Did they paint the inside of the air cleaner base and lid black? Besides the 351 4V decal on the lid what other decals are used?

Don't have any pictures to confirm one way or the other

There should be a filter replacement decal showing the part number for the filter on the drivers side of the base

If the car was delivered to California then there is a decal on the snorkel Ignore the non-factory decal applied to the center of the air cleaner on this example
