Title: '67 Standard Horn Button--Horn Contact Plate
Post by: drummingrocks on December 22, 2015, 12:41:55 PM
Does anyone have a diagram or picture of how the horn contact plates install on a '67 with a standard steering wheel?  Something inside my horn ring came apart right before Mustang Week last summer, and I didn't have time to fix the issue then.  Even after looking at it, I'm still a bit lost of how this is supposed to go together.  The only other cars I have to reference are my '65-66s and a '69.  I tried a Google search, and found a good diagram of a '67, but it's the Deluxe steering wheel, not the standard one.

I also tried looking in the '67 assembly manuals, and the '67 shop manual.  I found a diagram in the shop manual, but it's so small I still can't make out what I'm looking at.

Thanks for any help!
