Holy cow! $159 for a pair of door striker shims? Something doesn't seem right here. Also, the seller described the items wrong, they do not fit 67-8 also.

I saw that too, he also listed more last night and ended that auction.

I have a bag of about 10-20 of these that I cleaned and had re-plated. They look like new, just as good, if not better than NOS.
-
Are they very noticeable? I actually found 2 behind one striker and 1 behind the other.

Especially since you don't even get the box. Wonder what the seller is going to do with it? ::)

Very noticeable to a judge! ;D

Have you got a few I could use? Hate to pay $78.95 to replate a few shims. :o
-
whom ever paid that for those strikers needs to get a cat scan because their way over due.

Actually don't have any 67-8 right now (they are bigger than 65-66.)

No problem, friend in CA said he would plate for no charge.
Why would I have 2 on one striker and 1 on the other? Maybe one got lost at some point?

Its typical to see a different number of shims on different sides- Cars were not that perfect ;)

Dang Jeff. I thought for sure you were going to tell us you just run down to the yard and grab a few whenever you need them. Just wipe off with a rag and good as new!
