Title: Which is correct?? 1970 1/4 Window Upper Pivot Stainless
Post by: D0ZZ70MACH on January 05, 2016, 11:20:28 PM
I'm looking for some advice regarding the correct stainless trim for the upper 1/4 window pivots.  I have two sets with different styles of stainless but can't remember which ones I removed from my car.  The attached photos show the same side (L/H I believe) with the different types of stainless.  Is it a case of different suppliers or is one from a different vehicle??  Any thoughts?  Thanks!!

The roof rail weather strip retainers for 63 body code are slightly different for 69 vs 70. As a result the stainless retainer for quarter glass is slightly different. Your picture shows both years. The picture Brian supplied is typical for 69.

Thank you Bob!!!  I really appreciate your feedback.

I didn't realize the weather strip retainers were different between 69 & 70.
