does anyone have a good pic of vent window assy.from the outside to see how the lines look comparison to roof rail trim.

The "lines" are supposed to be parallel. A detailed adjustment procedure is found in the 1965 Mustang Body Assembly Manual. I recommend you get a set of them for your car.
