Title: 1970 Boss 302 PCV Valve Application
Post by: Adwear on January 14, 2016, 11:46:16 PM
My 1970 Boss 302 with a built date of 11/02/69 has an aftermarket PCV valve installed. Its a Mutchen Car if that makes a difference.

What is the correct PCV Valve to use?

#DOAZ-6A666-A   Autolite   #EV-50

#DOOZ-6A666-A  Motorcraft #EV-51

Thanks for your help.

Bob

Bob believe the choices are between EV-50 and Ev-51. Both originally being Autolite marked PCVs. Motorcraft would be a replacement and not available when the car was built

The change over date according to documents was in February 1970 so your car would have likely been equipped with the EV-50
