Title: 67 390 distributor primary wire

Is this wire reproduced, IIRC Bob Gains says it should have a ring connector at the coil end.

For a S code?

What dist are you using?

So far I'm seeing and recall the 90 degree for that application with the typical BB white boot.

Let me know and I'll dig further

That wire is reproduced and is available at Mansfield and I think NPD. It is a ring connector on the 67 BB and SB duel point centrifugal advance for sure. Not so sure on 67 Vacuum advance.

The distributor is C7OF-F, for a 390 GT. There is no listing for a 390 at NPD.http://mansfieldmustang.com/06-68.jpg   Mansfield does carry this for 67-70 390GT and 428 CJ.

Bob : To answer your question on the SB with vacuum advance, no, they do not use the ring connector to the coil, but the push on 90 degree connector (see my Post of December 21 under "Parts" for documentation).
