Hi folks,
My 67 Convertible gets painted. I already got the colour codes for the red interior.
There are 2 different reds one dark and one lighter. My question is:
Is one of them semigloss are they both glossy?
Thanks

Both are semi gloss.

Both are semi gloss.
+1 Same as all colors - all years - all normal interior colors used in classic Mustangs
Sometimes a little flatter - all depends on the day and how you apply the product. Just make sure you strip off all of the paint to bare metal and don't fill in the grain and texture with new paint ;)

Thanks a lot guys!
I will take care regarding the grain

One more: are the deluxe setbacks and the console dark red or red?
I know there was an overwiev here but can't find it anymore

Interior colours are always red or dark red "poly" what does poly mean.
I am German and I don't know what this word means.... Can someone explain that to me?
Thanks a lot!

The poly mean they are "sort of" metallic or iridescent.
... and IMO the seat backs are red

"Poly" is short for "polychromatic" - Ditzler's term for metallic (as Claes pointed out). Martin-Senour and others may have used it too.
Took awhile to find a document from Ditzler with the full word "polychromatic" on it. The sample is GM truck colors from 1939.
