Title: Trunk hinges

I am really  struggling  to get the torsion  rods to work properly ,there seems to be a lot of play in the spots where the rivots are ,I am thinking  the hardware  is worn out,I have a nice pair of 68 coil spring  hinges,are they interchangeable?
Just a question.don't think I'll use them

I've seen them installed on 67 fastbacks so I guess they worked
