Title: Engine bay black or semi-gloss?
Post by: aaatp on June 16, 2010, 05:28:13 PM
I can't remember if the cowl to shock tower braces, or the cowl to fender apron braces, on my 66 Dearborn convertible are supposed to be engine bay black or semi-gloss black. I'm kinda guessing that the cowl to shock
tower braces are engine bay black and the cowl to fender apron braces are semi-gloss. They have all been
meadia blasted and primed and I can't remember the proper finishes. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks: John

The cowl to shock tower braces are usually pretty close to the engine bay, maybe a touch more gloss.  The convertible tubes are more of a semi-gloss.  Should be a noticeable difference with those.
