Can anyone help me identify which of these two brackets is a 67 BB radiator upper support.

I am not aware that there was any difference between the BB and SB retainer. The one you have with the J clips is incorrect. The other one with the insert nuts is correct. There may be a date code stamped in them some where, I would use the one preceding your cars build date.

Still looking through my pictures but so far your top example (first picture) is formed like a service replacement I have pictures of Picture 4-5 differences
-
These are basically the same except for the stamped slot and the threaded portion. Also there is no engineering number or date code on either part.

So your reporting that there is no difference in the stamping as picture 4 & 5 shows?
If not what was the purpose of those pictures?

Sorry I didn't mean to be vague, pictures 4 and 5 seem to show one of two differences (A) on the old paint part the pic shows a stamped slot that goes through the bracket where the new paint part there is not a through stamped slot (B) the old paint part has the C shaped threaded portion that pushes in place where the new painted part has captive nuts in place. :o
