With a bit of a discussion lately on NJ built cars I'm wondering if anyone may be able to assist with there thoughts, experiences and images of what colour the fan and pulley may have been on original alternators. My particular interest is 1966 NJ cars with a build region date of December 65 through March 66.
Maybe Mr Speegle may have some images he could share in his vast never ending collection of pictures.
My limited knowledge seems to suggest black fan and gold pulley. Just putting it out there for others to comment on.

I will try and get a picture on my lunch break of my April (not far out of your date range) 66 NJ Alt/fan. It is an original unit.
Edit - took a pic but lighting was terrible. Pulley is black and fan is natural. Will try and roll it out this afternoon and get a better pic.

I take it that the focus is non - K code
As well as non- blue "odd ball" examples ;)

Thanks, Phill, I'll delete my earlier post to avoid confusion. For what it's worth, my July 65 NJ hardtop had the black pulley and fan, but obviously, it is outside your date range.

As usual with NJ details - not many cars left or in a decent condition - but here is a few. I'll leave to you to determine what has been altered or what was the original finish
One may be AU SNK's car
