Title: Power Steering Leak ...
Post by: Rainier42 on July 11, 2016, 07:19:44 PM
Have a bad power steering leak from the pressure hose connected to the Control Valve (big hose not the short ones going to the Ram).  The pressure hose and return look to be original.  This is on a 1970 Boss 302.  Anyone know what the original Ford part #s were for these lower hoses?  Auto is a 1970 Boss 302 Dearborn build.

Just an FYI, there are little inserts in the control valve side of the fitting which can be replaced. It might take some searching to find them. It may fix your leak.

Thanks for your reply.  Am familiar with the aluminum inserts.  In this case, it isn't those ... it's the hose itself.  Had car running while uno on a lift and could see the leak.
