What mandates a dashpot on a 67 Dearborn S code C6 auto carb?
I thought it was factory A/C that decided.
Have seen thoughts ranging from every automatic got them, to, it was a combination of A/C and P/S.
Thanks in advance

I don't believe a dashpot was used in 67, my s code, a/c and power steering car doesn't have one. also a Dearborn car.

Agreed.
My p/s, thermactor, no a/c 390/C6 doesn't have one either.
Do you have a problem with sudden off-accelerator stumbling?

Thanks for the info. I think I will refrain from adding a dashpot to the correct carb that is out getting replated.
Thanks again
