Title: Fuel Line Clamps

On my 68, the fuel line clamps have a dark finish, they are not zinc. What is the best way to replicate this finish?

Mix up a little phosphate mixture and darken them or a little gun bluing applied with a couple of dark coats should pass on such a small part
