Finally, after some time looking for the Thermactor system for my car, collecting parts and testing before shipping, I have received the box with everything inside.
I've primed and painted the parts and have started to assemble them to the car. I have put the air pump in place, the air filter and switched on the engine. All looks correct and air is flowing nicely.! Tomorrow I will fix the backfire valve and continue with the job.!

It looks great! I love it when a plan comes together and considering the rarity of these parts AND knowing your location, you have done this in record time.
On another note: I have a question about a detail I see on your distributor vacuum advance. Without searching, I wondered if the rubber hose connection is correct for your car. I am no 66 Thermactor specialist but I thought that may have been originally a steel tube all the way to the distributor (I could be wrong though)

Thank you very much Richard.! Yes, I am very happy about how it finally ended.!
Probably not, guess the PO modified the line and put that piece of rubber hose at the end. I also removed the transmission cooling line because they were the same, rubber at the ends. Will do later, now I'm fixing the SMOG system. The good news is that I've been able to remove all the 6 plugs in the cylinder head, I was thinking I could not do it.! They were very tight.!

I'm back on the road again.! With the new-made spacer in my hands, this morning I've put the carb again into the car, connected all the hoses, tubes, etc.. and cranked the car. All looked fine to me so I decided to go for a ride with her. Have done some 15-20 miles, back home again and the system looks to work properly, no leaks nor strange noises so at the moment, I think I am done with this project.! Anyway, I'll keep an eye to it.
As I restored the heater box with new seals, paint... I replaced the red ugly hoses I had and put the correct ones. Also AM radio has been repaired by my neighbor and now is working.! Voltage regulator replaced for the correct one as well. Next will be to remove the fan and it's spacer to paint them correctly.
