Hi buddies,
Looking for an original Autolite 1100 carb for my car and found these two that are correct for my application.
The question is, which one is the correct one..? The one with gold finish or the other one silver-plated..?
Maybe both..?
Thank you.

The bottom one has just been cleaned. stripped and lightly polished (non-original finish)
Don't know if its correct for the application since you didn't include any codes or information about either.

Sorry Jeff,
It hasn't any tag attached.
I can see FoMoCo stamped, a number 6, letters DG an nothing else.
Seller stats:
"Fits: 1963-1969 FORD MUSTANG, FALCON, Mercury Comet, with 170c.i. and 200c.i. inline straight 6cyl engines with automatic transmissions and no SCV."

You need to make sure that the Autolite 1100 that you get has a Spark Advance which is the 1965-1967 Model (Non-IMCO). The 1968-1969 Autolite 1100 (IMCO) is a slightly physically bigger carb, and DOES NOT have a Spark Advance. The place for the previous Spark Advance is Blocked off on these '68-'69 carbs and will run like crap on your '66 200 cid.
The easiest way to tell an Auto 1100 vs. a Manual 1100 is that the Auto carb has two dashpots, and the Manual carb only has 1 dashpot.
