Title: bolt finish
Post by: tobkob on November 07, 2016, 10:15:52 PM
Quick question, on my April 69 Dearborn car what is the finish on the bolt between the wiper ground and rubber boot on the cowl / firewall? I have seen  silver, gold, and phosphate finish on these.

Thanks

If it is the bolt that connects the wiper ground to the cowl, 55981-S36, then it is Zinc Dichromate (yellow rainbow color)

+1 . It is common in 69 for items associated with electrical to be plated S36 (gold).
