Title: Door Lock Cylinder Gaskets and Trunk Lock Gasket
Post by: 67gtasanjose on December 07, 2016, 10:28:00 AM
Going by memory from since it has been years ago that I repainted (pulled all chrome & locks) and since ALL 3 of my lock cylinders had no seals or gaskets, all were missing when I tore my 67 San Jose down...

Correct me if I am wrong but aren't there supposed to be seals on the door cylinders but NO gasket on the trunk cylinder?

I haven't looked at the assembly manual yet but thought I would ask others what is normally found.

Just the opposite. No seal at the door locks and one seal at the trunk lock.

Looks like this is another case where the available reproduction is wrong.  I bought a repro lock kit, and both door locks came with rubber gaskets.  Not sure about the trunk lock, since I didn't need/buy that one.
