I know I've seen this somewhere before, did a scode mustang get a different size plain steel wheel compared to a c code??
-
Believe same wheel

Thank you. I stumbled across a set of rims dated close to what I need.
Trying to recall, but maybe it was the Gt package that got 1/2" wider rim??

Possibly difference model of Ford that year

IIRC, the s-code cars got the 14x6 in 67.

Looked it up in the 67 MPC just to confirm and I found that Ford specified application not by engine size but by tire option ordered
C7ZZ-1007-C (14 x 6 steel wheel) was available with any V8 that was ordered with the wide oval that year.

Thanks Jeff. I guess more GT cars ordered wide oval than plain jane cars.
It is strange that the styled steel wheel was a downgrade in regard to width at 5 1/2"

Not really "down graded" just to up graded like the wide oval tire rims since they were new to the line up for 67

The wide oval ($60 or so option) was a white wall tire that year and the standard tire had a white wall option (about a $30 option) also I believe. Maybe someone with an original order form (may depend on what it says what month it was printed) will correct if I got it wrong.
