Title: kick panel screws
Post by: dbm350 on July 19, 2010, 12:42:05 AM
Working on an April 66 San Hose car.   I need confirmation on number of screws in the kick panel and the location.  There are 3  screw holes in the area underneath the panels. I thought there were only supposed to be 2 at this time in production.   I have 1 hole the lower front corner, 1 hole about half way up from the floor and about 2 inches in from the door opening. And 1hole about 3/4 up from the floor and about 3-4 inches in from the door opening. Same on both sides. Any body else seen this?    Thanks Doug

Very early production '66's had the 3 screw Kick panels which were a '65 carryover.  Since it is a San Jose car, Jeff Speegle will probably respond since he is the San Jose expert, or you can PM him or e-mail him.
