Post by: Wills70 on February 04, 2017, 07:01:39 PM
Hi, I am looking for some pictures of an original hold down bracket , specifically the engraving to add the 2v  and  4v engraving to my reproduction bracket .  Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Sure about that ?  Never seen a support bracket stamped with anything.  Have seen a mid-plate stamped with 2V and 4V.  Brian

I have an original one stashed away, and they are stamped 2V and 4V for the two intake manifold bolt holes.
I'll dig it out and take pictures when I'm back from vacation in March.

that is a picture I had from don't know where. Below is a picture of mine which I purchased second hand years ago, I'm fairly sure it's original Ford

Thanks Aussiemach ! Exactly  what I was  looking for.  I am a machinist by trade and going to CNC engrave this on my bracket.
