Title: Studs for 70 window guide brackets
Post by: RocketScientist on February 15, 2017, 04:41:23 AM
I need to source new studs for my window guide brackets and I was wondering if anyone knows where to find them. Does AMK supply a good alternative?

post a picture, i'm sure there are a number of them sitting in peoples parts stash, I wish I would have kept all my discarded parts from mustangs I have had since I was 15, now 57.

have you tried Lawson industries, you're local Dorman supplier or even Kar products, I can get those studs at my local nut/bolt supplier or order from afore mentioned suppliers. I'm sure I have numerous specimens of pic posted as I have parted numerous 69-70 in past years. just wish I would have kept some stuff from years past. I'm sure you could locate them locally ,easily but if needed I can try to locate mine. cost would probably < 2.00 while frt. would get in more than cost of studs. hope this helps.

Thanks, I'll give those guys a try. I find these days replacing hardware is harder than replacing parts.
