1965 2+2, 19A build date, San Jose car
Is this the correct trunk lid ? I've been told it isn't but I have seen a lot of conflicting information.
Thanks !

My lid has a date stamp. Seems yours has one to ? Brian

It has 3 layers of paint and until I strip them off I can't read the date stamping.
I was going more by the style of the trunk lid because I know some have the circles and some don't and I'm not sure what the other variations are.
I know it's not the original trunk lid because the original owner told me that it was stolen along with the trap door many years ago.
Thanks !

Looks correct to me including the wire harness clip on the left hand side holding the tension rod.

The circles started sometime in '66 production.

I had a February '65 scheduled build fastback with that style trunk lid.

Yes it appears to be correct visually for a 65 San Jose installation
Date code would give you an idea if it came from another car
Got something like a 10 or 11 to start the date code with ?
