Title: '66 289(auto) power steering hose strap
Post by: socalgt on July 28, 2017, 12:21:59 PM
I understand there was a metal strap of some kind installed at the factory to hold the high and low pressure lines against the control valve to avoid contacting the steering components(tie rods).  I'm looking for a picture.

                                                                                                    Thanks...

Interesting....great picture....

...Thanks.  I don't think I've seen that available in a reproduction part.  I'll keep an eye out for it.
