Title: help decode my rad

i took my car apart 5 years ago and i am staring to put it back together . want to know if this rad is the  right one . what does this date code mean

w  mo
10 68   my cat was made on sept 9 1960 ( it is  7o  mach 1 m code

The date code is Oct 1968 so it looks like its not the original for a car built a month earlier
