Looking for a brake light switch NOS.
Hope this is the correct one:
Stamped:
FORD C9VB-13480-A
(not 100% sure if correct for my car, but this one was assembled. Had to replace it by repop because it was not working anymore)
Don't know if others will work as well (like C9VY-13480-A)

Hello,
Could anyone confirm below numbers as being correct for my 67 disc brakes?
MOTORCRAFT SW862, #C9VB13480A, #C9VY13480A
Thank you.

Ralph, as you know that is a 1969 part number. I don't have time this morning to look through the documentation, but recall that in 1981 when I went to my local Ford dealer for a new switch I got a C9 part. If nobody else answers I'll try to look this evening.
I do recall quite a few changes in design between 1967 and 1969.
Did you read this post?

Thx John.
Yes, I'm aware of C9 represents 1969. However, I was searching quite a lot, but could not find anything than the mentioned numbers. No C7 at all.
The ones I found are Motorcraft, Ford logo + number C9VB.....stamped. For power disc brakes, not drum. I believe this is the best vendors available.
Except someone has an original (for sale).

Ralf,
Following the "part number" trail:
The factory installed part is: C7ZB-13480-B, (67 Electrical Assembly, AM0018, pg18),
The substitute parts are: C8ZB-13480-B and C9VB-13480-A,
The service part is: C9VY-13480-A (SW 862).
That appears to be the one you want.
Except as noted, the above is from the 75 MPC.

Many thx, Jim.
That means I'm ok with my search.
Just to add that C7ZB-13480-A is related to 1967 - 1970 models with the Manual (Non Power) Brakes.
