Title: battery heat shields

Would a SCJ Mustang built at the Metuchen plant in May of 1969 get a battery heat shield?

Yes. A number of threads address the question as well as there is an article in the 70 section of the Library here on the site also

Back years ago we bought a 69 met. feb 69 built 428cj mach1 from OO & the black c7 battery shield was still in the car.
