Title: Quick question on Shelby Trunk Lamp Wiring
Post by: midlife on May 27, 2018, 06:29:57 PM
Did all Shelby's receive a tail-light harness with the power line for the trunk lamp taped to the tail harness?
I'm not asking whether all Shelby's used it in practice, just whether it was supplied with all 67 Shelby's.

Thanks.

It's never a good idea to say 'all' and 'Shelby' in the same sentence.
Even in the same year.

That said, mine has the line taped to the main harness and, of course, is not used on Shelbys.

Yes many early Shelby's with the steel innerstructure trunklids had trunklights also.

I also had the lead taped to the factory tail lamp harness.
