Title: 1970 Power Steering Hose

Did a 1970 351 cleveland high pressure steering hose from the pump to the control valve hose have a protective coil on the hose from factory or has this been put on it?
The repo ones don't have it & I have seen a NOS hose and it didn't have the coil.

that was a running change  have had both nos with & without the metal wrapping.
